And Another (Supernatural) Thing,… – Announcement

Apr 19, 2021 | And Another (Supernatural) Thing,…, Movie | 2 comments

Hello, dear readers of Vampire’s Tears. This is your And Another (Supernatural) Thing,… host, Chiara, and today I’m writing this article with a sad, but unfortunately necessary, announcement.

Due to personal life and other circumstances, I have made the decision to stop working on the ambitious and lengthy project that the podcast turned out to be. While I am a huge fan of the show and will certainly not stop talking about it for a little while longer in my day to day life with other fellow Supernatural fans, I have regretfully realised that the promise I had made when first coming out with the idea of the podcast was a lot more to overtake than previously thought.

Among the reasons for my decision, there is the fact that, as we all know, the show has ended late last year with an overall count of 327 episodes and commenting on each of them, alone or in couples, is simply a longer-term and generally bigger commitment than I am able to make at this time. I want to make perfectly clear that I am not taking this decision lightly or shallowly. I did sincerely embark on the project with my best intentions and my full enthusiasm, but it was that enthusiasm and excitement that blinded me to the size of what exactly I was trying to do and of the task I was undertaking.

I apologise to anyone who might have started following the podcast and I thank you all for the support that I have received so far.

Even though this specific project won’t be seeing any more development, that doesn’t mean that there won’t be other initiatives to be developed later on as Vampire’s Tears grows with my fellow writers and – even more importantly – with you all, our readers.

Once again, thank you for your patience with my failed experiment and see you all very soon with more translations, reviews, and general entertainment!

I’m really sad to know that you dropped this project. From what I could listen, in the episode 0, you were really excited to start this podcast. I hope that these condition will fade the fastest they can and that you will restart very soon with this adventure.

Thank you so much for your very, very kind sentiment. It is extremely humbling to know that someone was listening and I cannot thank you enough for the support. I really hope I will either be able to pick AA(S)T back up in the future when things are a little more certain, or that other projects in collaboration with the website will come up. If the latter were to happen, it would be very inspiring and certainly exciting to hope for an audience as encouraging as you! Thank you again ♥
